Study Hall Research has completed the acquisition and renovation of new corporate headquarters in South Tampa and has moved the company to its new address effective this week.
In late June, principal partners Rodney Kayton and Rob Iles completed the purchase of 4200 square feet of prime office space. The two-story office building, located at 4409 West El Prado Boulevard, formerly housed a military services charity organization before that owner moved to larger quarters. Bringing the building in line with the needs of a primary marketing research consultancy required a complete renovation of the space. The end result transformed the office into a contemporary, sophisticated and airy loft-like space that combines both rustic and industrial surfaces with a range of grey toned walls and refined lighting, all punctuated with bursts of color in Study Hall’ signature red and other shades.
Commenting on the project, Rob Iles (Partner – Managing Director) said ‘We were thrilled to find this standalone office building after a prolonged search from Channelside to Ybor to Hyde Park to South Tampa. The building was dramatically different from what it is now, and this has been a project that required a strong vision and some excellent and talented resources. The finished space includes both Study Hall corporate offices, as well as 2,000 square feet of leasable office space on the second floor for a tenant/occupant.’ Iles added ‘The change has been dramatic and fun, and we worked diligently to incorporate the ideas and personalities of each of our consulting team. We look forward to continuing our ongoing business success from this space.’
Rodney Kayton (Managing Partner) commented ‘We found excellent financing partners in GulfShore Bank and the Florida Business Development Corporation. Both entities were a pleasure to work with, and the process created a mutually beneficial partnership that we will continue to use and value in the future. We appreciate the professionalism and positive energy both parties brought to the process, and we strongly recommend these two entities and the team approach they bring to business financing solutions.’ Kayton added ‘We look forward to hosting an office-warming open house later this fall!’
