Veterans Florida, the Florida corporation founded to encourage military service members and Veterans to relocate to the state of Florida, has contracted Study Hall Research for two separate national research studies.
In May of 2015, Study Hall Research conducted a series of exploratory qualitative Baccalaureate Groups® in key US military markets. This initial research phase was conducted to help Veterans Florida identify the range of challenges faced and resources needed as active service members transition out of military service and as these service members, Veterans and their spouses consider post-military life and relocation. Following this exploratory research, Study Hall is presently conducting a national quantitative online QuickStudy™ to validate and further dimensionalize preliminary quant insights.
Speaking of this important business win, Rob Iles (Partner – Managing Director) said ‘The Study Hall team is tremendously honored to be selected as engagement partner for this important research. We have a strong commitment to the fundamental mission and goals of the Veterans Florida organization and the building of Florida’s Veteran population, so our team was tenacious in our pursuit of these two contracts.’ Iles continued ‘The Veterans Florida organization has an exceptional staff and a highly engaged Board, and our involvement with them has been a true integrated partnership as we move both research initiatives forward. We look forward to providing valuable strategic and tactical marketing research insights as a result of this custom primary research—and we look forward to watching Veterans Florida succeed in its work to reinforce Florida’s standing as the most Veteran-friendly state in the nation.’
Veterans Florida was established by the Florida Legislature in 2014 as part of the Florida GI Bill to serve as an innovative corporation to encourage recently retired or separated military personnel to make Florida their permanent residence. The 501c(3) corporation will develop programs, resources and other tools to help Veterans to bring or develop the skills needed by Florida businesses to the state.
