Tampa International Airport continues research partnership with Study Hall Research; taps firm for strategic business development research

As a part of its continued and rapid growth, Tampa International Airport has tapped Study Hall Research for a market evaluation assignment.  The airport has contracted with the primary marketing research firm for a series of qualitative Baccalaureate Groups® to explore parking behaviors and practices and help guide its commitment to more completely meeting travelers’ needs.

Tampa International Airport has previously partnered with Study Hall Research for a series of research initiatives and ideation sessions as a part of the airport’s multi-billion dollar Master Plan expansion.  This new research engagement is another part of that ongoing Master Plan update process.

Addressing this research engagement, Rob Iles (Partner – Managing Director, Study Hall) said ‘The airport has long been an important business client for us, and we were excited to get the call on this market research assignment.  We are very grateful to be tapped on an ongoing basis to help Tampa International Airport maintain a research-based competitive edge as it continues to grow and improve its offerings for the Tampa Bay community.’

Tampa International Airport is the primary air travel port serving the greater Tampa Bay area.  Airport officials began updating the airport’s Master Plan in late 2011, and the project was approved in 2013.  The final plan outlines three phases of expansion to accommodate 35 million passengers each year, more than double the current number of annual passengers.
