Step Up for Students calls on Study Hall for strategic research partnership

Step Up for Students (SUFS), a not-for-profit that provides educational scholarship opportunities for economically challenged families of students in grades K through 12, has selected Study Hall as strategic research partner. As a part of this engagement, Study Hall will be conducting qualitative research in key Florida markets with a range of SUFS constituencies.

In announcing the partnership, Alissa Ciaramello (Step Up for Students – Executive Director of Marketing), said “We are very pleased to form this research partnership with Study Hall. From our first meeting with them, the Study Hall team very quickly grasped our organization’s mission and goals. As a result, they were quickly able to design a custom research initiative that addressed all of our learning needs while also working within our very tight budget. It’s clear they have a passion for what they do, but also for what we do.”

Rob Iles (Study Hall – Managing Director) added this: “We were very engaged by what SUFS does, and their dedication to their mission. As a firm, Study Hall is a firm believer in the value of education, so ours is a shared commitment with SUFS. We are honored to be chosen to work with this important organization, and we look forward to providing them with powerful custom market research to help them achieve their goals in the coming months.”

Step Up For Students is an initiative of the Florida Tax Credit (FTC) Scholarship Program. The FTC program was created in 2001 by the Florida Legislature to offer more educational opportunities to low-income families. Under the program, economically disadvantaged students in grades K-12 can receive a scholarship of up to $4,106 to attend a qualifying private school, or $500 for transportation to attend a public school in a different district. Scholarships are awarded to students whose families provide documentation that they meet federal guidelines for the national free or reduced lunch program.
