Survey Magazine names Study Hall founding partner one of 12 top North American qualitative moderators

Survey Magazine has named Study Hall Research founding partner Rob Iles as one of 12 top North American qualitative moderators in its 2014 listing of Who’s Who Among Focus Group Moderators.

In its June 2014 issue, the publication highlights only twelve qualitative research professionals as outstanding practitioners of the qualitative discipline. Commenting on this selection, Iles said “This is a terrific honor from a publication such as Survey Magazine, which is recognized as a leading industry publication for clients and research practitioners alike. To join the distinguished group of 12 is both a recognition and validation of the level of passion and commitment I and the entire Study Hall Research team bring to qualitative research.”

Iles continued “The recognition from Survey Magazine helps shed light on the ever-broadening range of Study Hall’s qualitative research offerings–from traditional focus groups using advanced creative and projective techniques, to in-field deep-dive ethnography, to online blog, chat and message-board qual, to larger group qual/quant combined methods and even real-time mobile- and video-based qualitative. The qualitative research field continues to evolve, and to be recognized by Survey Magazine as an example of best practices in these diverse research methods is flattering, gratifying, and fun!”
