Study Hall attends Marketing Research Association joint chapter conference

This week, Study Hall Research attended the Florida, Atlanta/Southeast and Great Lakes chapters of the Marketing Research association (MRA) for the annual joint chapter conference. From 25-27 January, Study Hall joined more than 50 other marketing research professionals for this important conference in Key West. The annual conference is conducted to provide opportunities for continuing education, networking, and review of new research technologies and protocols. Speaking about the conference, Rodney Kayton (Managing Partner – Study Hall) said: ‘This conference is always an excellent opportunity for new ideas. This year, in particular, much of the focus was on new and upcoming social media platforms and how to integrate those into primary marketing research. It was interesting to note how much of this research Study Hall is already conducting for our clients. More than that, it was compelling to discuss with other industry professionals how social media and technology based research is but one option for consideration–but clearly not the only option for current marketing research. We view this sort of research as complement to any research plan. But clients should be advised that social media-based research will not–for the near future, replace other marketing research disciplines.’ Kayton added ‘And Key West in January’s not so bad either!’
