Front Burner Brands has retained Study Hall to oversee research design, insights gathering and ideation management for brand evolution research for its flagship Melting Pot brand.
The 140+-unit upscale casual chain is currently assessing the evolution of the brand and how that evolution will be played out across all aspects of the customer brand experience, and Study Hall has been tasked with creating the multi-phased and multi-platform research program to gather insights and generate new ideas. Commenting on this new assignment, Rob Iles (Partner – Managing Director, Study Hall) said ‘We are pleased that Front Burner Brands has again tapped Study Hall for important brand research. The Melting Pot brand is an iconic one, and as the brand moves forward it is critical that any evolution be strongly based in consumer insights and knowledge of how to marry the classic brand elements that guests want and enjoy with new and exciting dimensions of the Melting Pot experience. We look forward to engaging with current and prospective Melting Pot consumers to identify and dimensionalize the most compelling combination of brand experience elements. And we look forward to leading the brand team through post-research ideation to bring those elements to life.’
Cindy Haynes (SVP Marketing – Front Burner Brands) said ‘This is a very important strategic research initiative for The Melting Pot, and we wanted to ensure that our chosen research partner knows our brand, but also knows the restaurant industry. Study Hall has significant experience with our brand, but also significant primary restaurant research experience. And they are experts at leading high-velocity ideation sessions, so we look forward to working with them to put the research results into action for new brand offerings and experiences.’ Haynes added ‘We could not imagine a better partner for this research.’
