Study Hall Research ends 2012 with flurry of new client activity; posts significant increases in annual revenue and other key business dimensions

Tampa (FL) based Study Hall Research closes the calendar year with a series of new client engagements, as well as double-digit increases in corporate revenues and contracted work.

The very last part of the year has included a strong slate of new client engagements from a diverse range of categories:

  • For WellCare Health Plans, Study Hall will be executing a series of product- and program- development focus groups with key specialty target adults who are either intellectually or developmentally disabled. This research will include qualitative groups with the ID/DD adults, as well as separate groups with primary and secondary caregivers. The research will explore a broad range of issues relating to services available to these audiences in key markets and geographies.
  • For Checkers & Rally’s Drive-In Restaurants, Study Hall will conduct its final four 2012 taste-test research engagements for this high-performing QSR brand.
  • For Raleigh (NC)-based Stone Agency, Study Hall will conduct nationwide qualitative research and a series of on-site interviews with owners, managers and technicians within the automotive repair sector.

Commenting on this very strong ‘late year’ flurry of work, Rob Iles (Managing Director – Study Hall) said ‘2012 has truly been a watershed year for us. Coming into the year, we set aggressive goals for growth, and it is thrilling to report that all those goals have been met and exceeded.’ Iles added ‘All of our key success metrics increased by double digits for the year. We end 2012 with our corporate revenues up 44% from yearend 2011, and with our actual number of contracted client jobs up 34% from a year ago. Our pace of work has been fantastic this year, as Study Hall ends 2012 having contracted new client work at a rate of more than 1 new contract per week. Rather than coasting to a close this year, we are barreling for the finish line!’

Rodney Kayton (Managing Partner – Study Hall) added ‘We are incredibly appreciative for the client challenges we have been asked to address this year. All Study Hall clients bring intriguing marketing and research issues that keep our team engaged and energized, and in return we are able to provide valuable insights-based knowledge for our clients.’ Kayton added ‘Few firms in our industry can consistently post such strong growth numbers. We are proud to do so for 2012, and we look forward to continued success in 2013. To all our clients, thank you!’
