CVS Caremark again turns to Study Hall for multi-market Medicare communications evaluation research

Looking toward strategic communications for 2015, pharmacy benefit management (PBM) industry leader CVS Caremark has awarded a multi-market communication evaluation assignment to Study Hall Research.

Working with a multi-disciplinary CVS Caremark team including PBM, Marketing & Product Innovation and Digital Communication teams, Study Hall will be executing a series of regional-focused qualitative Baccalaureate Groups®, both focused on various Medicare Part D creative and messaging components.

Addressing this new primary marketing research engagement, Rob Iles (Partner – Managing Director, Study Hall) said ‘Our relationship with CVS Caremark is an excellent example of an ongoing and ever-strengthening research partnership. From initial concept exploratory research through to communication refinement, we continue to work closely with the CVS Caremark team to design custom market research solutions that best fit the specific challenges while also generating valid and useful insights to help optimize creative units and messaging. And we continue to add communication elements to research, thus expanding the holistic assessment of a range of creative units, channels and media.’ Iles added ‘This was an engagement that was very quickly activated since we know the category and the brand well. The Part D arena is increasingly competitive, and we are gratified to be tapped on an ongoing basis to help CVS Caremark maintain a research-based competitive edge.’

With more than 7,000 CVS/pharmacy and specialty pharmacy locations in 43 states, Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia, CVS Caremark operates the most drugstores in the nation.
